The Educational Foundation

The AAUW Educational Foundation (EF) is a non-profit tax-exempt charitable organization which promotes educational opportunities and equity for women and girls. As the world's largest source of funding exclusively for graduate women, EF supports aspiring scholars around the globe, teachers and activists in local communities, women at critical stages of their careers, and those pursuing professions where women are underrepresented. The EF Foundation funds:

• AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund

The annual NW Valley Branch Fashion Show held each November helps to support EF.

The Legal Advocacy Fund (LAF) is a part of the AAUW Educational Foundation and helps provides funding and a support system for women seeking judicial redress for sex discrimination in higher education. For more information about the Legal Advocacy Fund, please click on the above heading.

The raffle held each year in conjunction with the Fashion Show helps to support LAF.
