Special Interest Groups are subgroups of the Northwest Valley Branch of AAUW members. The purpose of these groups is to promote the life-long educational goals of AAUW through smaller groups. The groups also promote sociability. Each Interest Group will elect its own Chair or Coordinator.
A member of a Special Interest Group must have paid AAUW membership dues
by July 1st and be included in the directory. Non-AAUW members may not be
members of a group, but they may attend one meeting as a guest.
So, put your glad rags on, join a Special Interest Group, and "Rock and
Roll" through 2008-2009 with your AAUW friends!
